Chemical peels offer an accelerated exfoliation of facial skin, resulting in renewed, healthier-looking skin and a more uniform complexion.
We offer several different SkinMedica chemical peel products that help provide vibrant, radiant-looking skin with minimal downtime. Dr. Robert Niedbalski and the aesthetic specialists at Northwest Hair Restoration will assess the condition of your condition, and help you determine the product to best suit your individual needs.
- Illuminize Peel – Brightens the overall appearance of skin. Appropriate for mild skin imperfections as determined by your physician. This is the most gentle of the SkinMedia peels we offer, and it is appropriate for all skin types. Patients should not expect to see visible peeling due to the superficial nature of the Illuminize Peel.
- Vitalize Peel – Smooths the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and rough-looking skin. Appropriate for mild to moderate skin imperfections, and all skin types. Patients with acne scarring or other pigmentary changes may choose this option.
- Rejuvenize Peel – Same as the Vitalize Peel, but for moderate to severe skin imperfections. It is appropriate for all skin types, although patients with deeply pigmented skin color should receive Vitalize Peel first to establish their tolerability for the product.
Chemical peels address imperfections as the result of aging and sun exposure. There is no expected downtime, and effects can be seen immediately after the procedure. Some patients may experience mild redness after a chemical peel. For maximum results, peels can be repeated until desired results are achieved.
